I was inspired by a great blog The Pin Junkie for this project and couldn't wait to make one of my own! I found a 2-tier plate holder and the plates at a local thrift store for $7.
It turned out so pretty and comes in very handy! Thank you Pin Junkie, I love it! :)
This is the 3-tier plate holder created by The Pin Junkie.

I link up to THESE Parties!

I love this idea too!! And so easy to do.

Yes it is! I love it! If I had space around my bathtub I would put one there, too! LOL
DeleteGreat idea! Wish I had counter space in my bathroom!
ReplyDeleteDo you have space around your bathtub? It would also look good there!
DeleteI've got to do this! My bathroom looks like the Macy's makeup counter dropped from the roof and landed in my house.
ReplyDeleteHAHA This would be a great way to keep everything in one place! That's a nice problem to have, you can never go wrong with Macy's!
DeleteI really should do this in my bathroom. Right now my compacts are threatening to avalanche.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great way to keep it all in one place!
DeleteHi Marti,
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. Right now Ihave three different plate stands that are gathering dust in the garage. My guest room could sure use an attractive display for guests.
Thanks so much for sharing and for your blog parties each week.
Blessings,
Carolynn
You are fortunate to have so many! I think they would also look great near a bathtub!
DeleteLove it! Using things in not-so-predicable places really adds to the decor. We currently have a wicker basket holding our stuff on the counter, but hoping to do some storage revemping... and I may just have to scour our thrift shops for one of those.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration!
It does add to the bathroom decor. I am really enjoying mine and that I found it for $7 makes it even better!
DeleteI really like this too.

I was thinking of doing something like this too but i secretly think, will people laugh that I am using a kitchen thing in the bathroom? joke is on me because I think this looks cool - functional too I bet!

HI Marti,
ReplyDeleteI have the plate rack you found at the Thrift store - it was from Southern Living. You have inspired me to get it out and use it for something other than cookies! Thanks!
Patty
I was also inspired by another site to put mine to use other than in the kitchen....it's become one of my favorite bathroom decorations! I'm glad I inspired you, too!! :)
